This will be organised with the ancient Grand Serment Royal et Noble des Arbalétriers de Notre-Dame du Sablon (the order of The Grand and Noble Oath of the Crossbowmen Notre-Dame de Sablon) and the crossbowmen of the Grand Serment Royal et de Saint Georges (the order of The Grand Royal Oath and of Saint George). Following the tradition, the winner will enter the Grand-Place during the Ommegang parade with the golden arrow! After Charles V’s exit from the Church of Notre Dame au Sablon, the Oaths will recreate the historical procession which is the origin of the Ommegang.
7.20 pm: The orders of the two Crossbowmen’s Oaths get in place and march towards the esplanade of the Church of Notre Dame au Sablon
7.30 pm: Crossbow shooting competition with presentation of the Golden Arrow in front of the esplanade.
